Dimglare - Verthandi

Overview:

Dimglare - Verthandi is a Light attribute Divine Grace modifier whose performance is solid both before and after Synergy. After Synergy (CN 5.0), her downtime issue is significantly alleviated, making lower-investment rotations smoother and indirectly raising her damage ceiling.

For shorter encounters she prefers pairing with S-Rank Hera, while longer fights favor Light S-Rank Osiris together with Skuld. Since she is obtainable for free along with her Exclusive Functor from a permanent event, pulling to SS rank is generally sufficient.

Although her restart issues have been improved, her Aether Codes remains fairly “baseline” compared to other DPS characters.

Sigil Recommendations:

• Max DPS setup: This sacrifices two Sigil Enchant slots, increasing the pressure on enchant optimization later, but offers the highest ceiling.
  • Slots 1, 3, 5: [Vastness of Heaven]
  • Slots 2, 4, 6: [Cycle of Time]
• Balanced Enchant Setup: Easier to roll good enchants, can casually reach 88868, but the Sigil effects are weaker than the setup above. The gap is small with single-red enchants, but widens when you have 3+ double-reds.
  • Slots 1, 2, 3: [Cycle of Time]
  • Slots 2, 4, 6: [Ambush of the Owl]
• Frequent Guard Setup: Requires frequent blocking (stationary dodge) to gain buffs; if you don’t block, the numbers are worse than Setup 2.
  • Slots 1, 2, 3: [Cycle of Time]
  • Slots 2, 4, 6: [Myriad Tomes of Enlightenment]

Sigil Enchants:

• Prioritize [Fierce Assault], [Berserk], [Enraged]. After that [Tactics Enhance], next optionally [Light Blessing], if you bring S-Rank Hera Ultimate Skillchain, you can reroll for 4 [Shinn-ryuu], no need for [Shinn-ryuu] if you bring Light S-Rank Osiris Ultimate Skillchain .

Aether Code Recommendations:

• Standard DPS Build: Use Red 3 Aether Code (Fated Verdict), others lines lean towards “acrobatics”.
  • If you are using her Exclusive Functor after Synergy (level 3) the first-tier effects of all three Aether Code paths can be activated simultaneously. Because of this, it is recommended to equip [Telepathize Forcefield III] to maximize buff value.
• Before Synergy Level 3: Blue 2 Red 1 Aether Codes, specially recommended for AI use. Pure Red is more comfortable for manual play but mixed builds can outperform under some scenarios. Remember to switch the Telepathize Forcefield I warp to the appropriate one depending on the setup.

Warp Recommendations:

• Slots 1 & 2: [Power UP: Melee] and [Evolution Particle I].
• Slots 3 & 4: [EM Flux]/[Savage] and [Telepathize Forcefield I]/[Telepathize Forcefield III] (see note above).
• Slots 5 & 6:
  • If paired with S-Rank Hera, prioritize [Ultimate Equation]; the other two slots can be [Kinetic Mod] or [Absolute Zero].
  • If paired with Light S-Rank Osiris, prioritize [Armor Breaker] first, then decide between [Kinetic Mod] or [Absolute Zero] depending on needs.

DPS Rotation:

• Standard Rotation: 11 22 11 22 3 11 22 11 22 Loop

  • Use Ultimate when available, and block frequently.

• After Synergy:

  • Use Ultimate when available, and block frequently.

  • For fast burst kills, you may skip the 3 follow-up during the 1122 sequence after entering Skill 3 state.

Stat Boost Priority:

• Ultimate = Skill 1 > Skill 3 > Skill 2 > Normal Attack.

Team Recommendations:

• Core Teammate: Team compositions remain strongly Skillchain-dependent. She can pair with either S-Rank Hera or Light S-Rank Osiris depending on encounter length.
• Third Member:
  • Priority: Skuld or Lingguang.
  • Alternatives: If you are running Light S-Rank Osiris, S-Rank Hera can also act as third member.
