Omnisight - Luliang

Overview:

Wind support? Wind DPS! Originally a standard Wind support, but with Luliang’s support capability being relatively average, the arrival of Wuluo (CN 5.1) has allowed her DPS potential to shine. This has given Luliang, who previously couldn’t find a spot on the field, a place in the Wind element DPS roster. However, DPS Luliang’s Crit Rate is a bit concerning, and she lacks a more advanced Ultimate Skillchain—one to look forward to in the future!

Overall, before Linyu arrived, Luliang was a very competent Wind support. However, Linyu is too excellent and is a free permanent character, which has led to Luliang being basically phased out of standard Wind teams. Her only remaining use is as a third member in Yingzhao teams, but after Wuluo’s release, the best third member for Yingzhao became Wuluo, leaving Luliang essentially unemployed as a support.

However, Wuluo’s Yellow Aether Code line saved Luliang’s DPS playstyle; with high Independent DMG and massive buff additions, Luliang’s output capability reaches sub-tier 1 levels. But since Wuluo’s support capability scales with her Max HP, there is a large gap between low-investment and high-investment DPS Luliang builds. Also, Luliang’s startup is a bit slow, so her short-duration burst is weaker than her sustained damage.

Warning: Luliang is only strong when paired with Wuluo. Without Wuluo, her DPS capability is not worth mentioning. Before using Luliang as a DPS, make sure you have Wuluo. Don’t mistake Wuluo’s power for Luliang’s own!

Synergy Evaluation:

It optimized the efficiency of her Ultimate charging. Basically, with [Nibelungenlied] and 4 [Loopback], her energy is sufficient. The buff improvement is not much and has many restrictions. Currently, only Yingzhao can benefit from it.

As a standard Wind support, the problem remains: Linyu is given for free, leaving little reason to field Luliang.

Sigil Recommendations:

• Standard Wind Support:
  • 1, 2, 3 [Pixiu's Fortunes]
    • If in a Yingzhao team and Linyu is already carrying [Pixiu's Fortunes], then Luliang can take 1, 2, 3 [Whole Truth]
  • 4, 5, 6 [Nibelungenlied].
• DPS:
  • 1, 3, 5 [Barren Flower]
  • 2, 4, 6 [Decree of the Waves].
  • At Ω, 2 & 3 [Immortal Blackbird] or [Whole Truth].
• Support (Alternative):
  • 1, 3, 5 [Ruler of the Heavens]
  • 2, 4, 6 [Decree of the Waves].
  • At Ω, choose 5, 6 [Whole Truth].

Sigil Enchants:

Support: max out [Fierce Assault], [Shinn-ryuu], and [Loopback], then consider [Berserk] and [Enraged]. After Synergy, an additional [Chain Enhance] is needed to trigger the Exclusive Functor’s effect.

DPS: Priority for [Fierce Assault] and [Berserk], then [Enraged] and [Standing Tall]. For SSS rank and below, 6 levels of [Standing Tall] is sufficient.

The damage from Lucky Coin benefits from the Ultimate damage increase, so one level of [Shinn-ryuu] can provide a 10% skill damage multiplier bonus to Lucky Coin.

Aether Code Recommendations:

• Wind Support: Use Red 3 Aether Code.
• DPS: A mix of one Blue, Yellow and Red

Signature Functor (Otherworlder - Hujiao):

Currently, her signature Functor is stronger than both the 5-star and 4-star generic Functors, so it is highly recommended to pull for it for Luliang. At tier 3, the duration of Lucky Coin is extended by 4 seconds, which greatly increases the benefit of the Red line.

However, the Functor has a downside: at transcend 7, the duration of Lucky Coin is extended by 8 seconds, which affects the trigger time of the subsequent explosion effect. This might not be a good thing for speedrunning.

The synergized Functor has an Independent DMG increase effect that currently only the Yingzhao team can benefit from, and it requires you to roll a [Chain Enhance] enchant on the team (note: at least one team member must have this enchant, otherwise it won’t trigger).

If playing Luliang as a DPS, the Exclusive Functor is also recommended.

DPS Rotation:

• Startup: 1-3 -> 2-3 -> 5A-3-1-3 -> 3 loop

  • “3-” means continuously pressing 3 for the combo

If using [Decree of the Waves], you can use 13-23-5A33.

Stat Boost Priority:

• It is recommended to prioritize upgrading Skill 3, followed by Skill 1 and Skill 2. If you have extra resources, you can choose to upgrade her Ultimate and Normal Attack.
