Ingenuity - Linyu

Overview:

Linyu is a Wind-element support, the younger sister who came to save her older sister Yingzhao.

However, compared to being with Yingzhao, she is stronger in a Brahmā team and now she’s even stronger in the Luliang + Wuluo team, supporting Luliang.

Her overall buffs and coverage are higher than Luliang’s. Although she can also support a Wind-attribute character together with Luliang, besides Yingzhao, the other teams would have three single Ultimates, which slows things down.

In the Global server her DPS capability is quite average, so if you’re not playing her for her character design, it’s better to avoid it. After the release of Wuluo in CN her DPS ability has increased significantly, making her usable as a T1-level damage dealer.

In summary, she is a strong Wind support who has replaced Luliang, consequently raising the strength of most Wind teams.

Sigil Recommendations:

• Support:

  • Slots 1, 3, 5: [Pixiu's Fortunes].
    
  • Slots 2, 4, 6: [Royal Favor].
    • If you don’t have her signature Functor, you can use [Nibelungenlied] instead.
      
  • Omega: [Nibelungenlied] for energy or [Song of the Victor] for buffs.

• DPS:

  • Slots 1, 3, 5: [Barren Flower].
    
  • Slots 2, 4, 6: [Royal Favor].
    
  • Omega: [Ruler of the Heavens].
    • If playing solo, you can use [Whole Truth].

Sigil Enchants:

For support, prioritize maxing out 4 [Loopback]. The rest are the same as for DPS.

Aether Code Recommendations:

• Wind support: Use Yellow 3 Aether Code.
• Dedicated Yingzhao support: Use Red 3 Aether Code.
• DPS: Use the Blue line.

Team Recommendations:

• She can fit into any Wind-attribute team. Currently, the most suitable teams are the Yingzhao team, the Brahmā team and the Luliang team (CN).

  • Note: In a Yingzhao team with Luwuo, manually controlling Linyu as a support is slightly better than manually controlling Yingzhao. Changing the rotation to 121 (pause, wait 1 second) 12 (to receive Wuluo’s yellow code buff).

• She has good synergy with Parvati, so Parvati’s strength at low, medium, and high investment is currently very high. In short battles, though, even at full investment she’s only average, since it takes time to stack Parvati’s bullets.
