Fate Wardens - Wuchang

Overview:

The first Shadow-element Harmony character, currently possessing impressive strength as a “solo” Main DPS or as a support for Shadow teams.

As a Main DPS, they can currently be paired with Sunflare Jinwu to trigger an Ultimate Skillchain; one Jinwu is given for free (CN 5.0), making her cheap and effective, and she also provides great buffs to Wuchang.

According to official info, a future Ultimate Skillchain teammate (武罗) will be released, potentially offering an even better Ultimate Skillchain option in the next version. For the third slot, Skuld is currently the most recommended; S-Rank Hera can be used for speedruns. S-Rank Oneiroi is not highly recommended because including Jinwu prevents a Triple Shadow team, and there is an extreme lack of Crit Rate.

As a support, they fit into most current Triple Shadow compositions, such as Selene + Serket, Selene + Hades, Hades + Oneiroi, etc. Their strength is acceptable, though still not as high as when used as a solo Main DPS, as their Main DPS multipliers and self-buffs are simply massive. They are relatively strongly reliant on the Admin Support Module, otherwise their combos are easily interrupted.

In summary Wuchang are currently the highest “stat monsters” in Aether Gazer, and the current team compositions might not be final. In current setups, if Skuld does not have a full Exclusive Functor, you often need to “fish” for crits but the confirmed future teammate may fix that. As the anniversary Main DPS, they are highly worth pulling.

Sigil Recommendations:

• Standard DPS setup:
  • Slots 1, 3, 5: [Boundless Heaven and Earth]
  • Slots 2, 4, 6: [Dawn of the Heavenly Path]
• For Ω, to save trouble, directly replace 2 and 3 with [Mooncrown]. To maximize Sigil Enchants, use 1 and 3 [Mooncrown] and place [Boundless Heaven and Earth] at 2 and 5.

Aether Code Recommendations:

• Main DPS: Use Red 3 Aether Codes.
• Support: Use Yellow Aether Codes.

Warp Recommendations:

• Slots 1 & 2: [Power UP: Melee] + [Evolution Particle I], or [The Executioner] + [The Judge].
• Slots 3 & 4: [EM Flux] + [Telepathize Forcefield I].
• Slots 5 & 6: [Evolution Particle III] + [Kinetic Mod] / [Armor Breaker] (If paired with Skuld, you can take [Current Decay]).

DPS Rotation:

• Without Exclusive Functor start with: Full-A 1 Full-A 2 Full-A 1 Full-A 1 3.

• After starting (with or without Exclusive Functor) loop: 3 Full-A 1 Full-A 2 Full-A 1 3.

Stat Boost Priority:

• 3 > 1 > 2 / Normal Attack > Ultimate Skill

Team Recommendations:

Main DPS: Wuchang + Sunflare Jinwu + Skuld.

Support Triple Shadow teams: Wuchang + Selene + Serket / Hades. Wuchang + Hades + Oneiroi.
