Arctic Abyss - Poseidon

Overview:

S-Rank Poseidon is an Ice-attribute standard Modifier. With and without Warps, she is basically two different characters.

SSS-rank is a watershed moment for her. Before SSS, the Warp’s CD reduction on her Skill 1 is completely insufficient. Only at SSS does Arctic Abyss truly become a “magical machine gun.”

Synergy evaluation:

Synergy miraculously saved Arctic Abyss, compensating for the lack of energy from dodging. However, the energy deficit is still significant. An Arctic Abyss with a low-rank Signature Functor will still be very short on energy, and the Blue line build must still be paired with S-Rank Hera.

Currently, Arctic Abyss is very strong, but she still requires SSS to be at her full potential. At SS, the CD on her Skill 1 is completely insufficient, which makes the amplification from Synergy not very obvious. At SS rank, if Arctic Abyss has insufficient Sigil Enchants and Warps, her strength will drop by a tier.

Sigil Recommendations:

• Slots 1, 3, 5: [Vanargand's Seal]
• Slots 2, 4, 6: [Song of the Victor]
• Omega Sigils:
  • Replace slots 5, 6 with [Ruler of the Heavens]
    • If you can clear IT8 within 30 seconds with your Omega build, changing the Omega sigil from Ruler of the Heavens to [Auspicious Descent] (CN) provides a more significant improvement. If not, the improvement is relatively minor, and you will need to to wait your energy to recover.

Sigil Enchants:

• It is recommended to roll for 3 or 4 stacks of [Calculated Reserve]. Players using the Blue line build do not need to roll for dodge-related enchants. Players using the Yellow line build are recommended to roll for one dodge-related enchant.

Aether Code Recommendations:

• Standard DPS Build: Use Blue 3 Aether Code (Quiet White) for general use.
• Burst DPS: Use Yellow 3 Aether Code (Sparkling Winter)

The Red line is for support, but it’s quite clunky, so it’s not highly recommended.

Warp Recommendations:

• Slots 1 & 2: [Power UP: Ranged] and [Flashback Core I].
• Slots 3 & 4: [EM Flux] and [Telepathize Forcefield I].
• Slots 5 & 6: [Current Decay], and for the other slot, you can choose [Aether Shatter], [Kinetic Mod], or [Absolute Zero].

Signature Functor (Herald - Amphitrite):

• Essential: After Synergy, the Signature Functor is basically a must-have. Without the Signature Functor, she lacks energy and is almost unplayable.

DPS Rotation:

• Single-target:
  1-1-3-3 to enter Edgy state
• AoE:
  2-2-3-3 to enter Edgy state

Stat Boost Priority:

• It is recommended to prioritize upgrading Skill 1, followed by Skill 3. If you have extra resources, you can consider upgrading her Normal Attack and Skill 2, but these two are generally not very useful.

Team Recommendations:

• Standard Blue line Arctic Abyss team: Arctic Abyss + S-Rank Hera + Heimdall/Kuramitsuha (Note: bring the yellow cat M.E.O.W., Me-Yow, to recover energy).
• Yellow line Arctic Abyss team: Arctic Abyss + Izanami+ Kuramitsuha
  • (Recommended to manually control Arctic Abyss. Buffs depend on investment; if Izanami is more invested, buff her; if Arctic Abyss is more invested, buff her). sacrifices some damage compared to a Skillchain-focused team.
