Serene Moon - Selene

Overview:

Selene is a Shadow-element Divine Grace modifier who is quite reliant on her Ultimate Skillchain.

Her skillchain partner can be either Hades or Serqet, with Serqet being the most recommended. The Shadow team formed with S-Rank Oneiroi is very strong, but the downside is that all three characters require a certain level of investment, otherwise the team’s strength will be greatly reduced. In the current meta, she is a low-investment god, but at high and max investment, her strength is average compared to others.

Besides the high cost of building the team, she doesn’t have any major weaknesses.

In summary, if you don’t have her skillchain partners Serqet or Hades, the recommendation level drops significantly. Although her strength is very good, she is basically useless without her skillchain. Alternatively, if you already have a highly invested Hades, there is not much need to force yourself to pull for Selene to improve the team’s strength. It’s purely based on character preference.

Sigil Recommendations:

• Standard DPS Build:

  • Slots 1, 3, 5: [Mooncrown].
  • Slots 2, 4, 6: [Acheron's Obol].
  • Omega sigils: Choose between
    • Replacing slots 5, 6 with [Ambush of the Owl]
    • Replacing slots 2, 5 with [Eljudnir]
    • Replacing slots 4, 5 or 5, 6 with [Sword of Roland] is also useful in certain specific rotations.

Aether Code Recommendations:

• DPS: Use Blue 3 Aether Code (Moonlight Ode).

Warp Recommendations:

• Slots 1 & 2: [Power UP: Melee] + [The Executioner] + [The Judge].

• Slots 3 & 4: [EM Flux] + [Telepathize Forcefield I].

• Slots 5 & 6: [Kinetic Mod] + [Armor Breaker].

  • If paired with Serqet, [Armor Breaker] can be replaced with [Aether Shatter].

DPS Rotation:

• Simplified version: AAA-2-2-AAA-1-1-AAAAA-3 + teammate's solo Ultimate (usually Dreamshade's) - AAAAA + (Ultimate Skillchain) + 2-AAAAA-1 loop

  • After Moonphase runs out, use skill 3 to exit the state and restart the loop.

Stat Boost Priority:

• 2 > 1 > 3/Ultimate > Normal Attack

Team Recommendations:

A triple Shadow team is recommended: with Serqet/Hades for the skillchain + Dreamshade for support.

Suboptimal support alternatives include Lingguang, S-Rank Hera, Ookuninushi, and A-Rank Heimdall.
