Rage Serpent - Marduk

Overview:

Marduk is the designated support for male characters in Aether Gazer, a de facto specialized support. However, before his Synergy, his support capabilities require a signature Functor to be fully effective; otherwise, he’s just an Ultimate Skill bot with a little bit of damage. The improvement from upgrading the Functor is ridiculously low, so you only need to pull one. It’s not necessary to upgrade it unless you are speedrunning.

Synergy Evaluation:

A decent Synergy, and it doesn’t strictly require level 3. For general players, level 2 is sufficient. It provides a significant improvement for several male characters, and the new Jackal Ultimate Skillchain also raises Jackal’s strength by a level. However, as a generic support, his BUFFs are generally average.

He is now only suitable for use as a support for male characters. In AblaZe Tyr’s team, all three have to use their solo Ultimates, and AblaZe Tyr’s energy recharge at low investment is particularly slow, so the team is relatively weak at low investment. You will find that you spend a third of the entire match watching animations, lacking an Ultimate Skillchain. In Firebrand Tyr’s team, the improvement is the most obvious, due to Firebrand Tyr’s insane scaling after his Synergy. In short, it’s man-help-man.

Sigil Recommendations:

It is recommended to use [Battle Cry of the Wild Sands] + [Song of the Victor]. For Omega, the choice depends on the situation. If he is a support, you can use [Nibelungenlied]. If you are playing him as a DPS, you can use [Ruler of the Heavens]. However, playing him as a DPS is not recommended. Transcend has almost no cost-effectiveness, and the output at low Transcend levels is just so-so.

Aether Code Recommendations:

• Supporting most male characters: Use Blue 3 Aether Code (Supreme God’s Design).
  • Currently, most male characters have the effect of increasing the whole team’s Ultimate Skill damage, so they can basically take full advantage of the old man’s Aether Code BUFF, which provides an insane bonus.
• If you are supporting a character that lacks energy, you can consider the Red line (Supreme God’s Wrath), but currently, no character particularly needs it.

Team Recommendations:

After his Synergy, it is recommended to use him with Jackal’s Ultimate Skillchain + Skuld or a two-support-one-carry team with Oneiroi.

Alternatively, you can form a Tier 0 Fire team with Firebrand Tyr, bringing Lingguang to provide shields and increase Firebrand Tyr’s margin for error. He can also replace S-Rank Hera in AblaZe Tyr’s team, but this is only viable at high investment; it’s average at low investment. The damage from drones summoned by teammates also counts as Marduk’s damage, so it’s good for slacking off occasionally. He has damage output even when standing still.
