Overview:
With a powerful new Ultimate Skillchain, a powerful Synergy Module, and a new Light-element support, our sister Luwu has grown from a dorm decoration into a strong mainstream damage dealer in just a few short months. She’s so strong!
Her skill mechanics are relatively simple, but the Red line’s damage flow requires frequent use of dodge-cancelling, which the AI doesn’t do, so her AI performance is average.
Overall, after Luwu’s Synergy update, the strength of her Red line has skyrocketed. Although the numbers don’t seem to have increased much, her mechanics have been optimized. Previously, each burst rotation required a long ‘warm-up’ period. Now, after the Synergy update, the interval between each burst is only about three seconds, which indirectly increases her damage output. Coupled with the impressive buff from her Ultimate Skillchain with Baize, she has gone from a benchwarmer to a breadwinner. But Baize is in a tough spot now. Originally, Luwu was a better support for her, but now Baize has become the support for Luwu. How the tables have turned.
Sigil Recommendations:
Standard DPS Build:
- Slots 1, 3, 5: [Vastness of Heaven]
- Slots 2, 4, 6: [The Lingering Shadow]
- Omega sigils:
- [Sage of Ten Thousand Tomes] is recommended for slots 5, 6.
- If you are not proficient with blocking, a 2-set of [Calydonian Rage] for slots 3, 6 or [Ambush of the Owl] for slots 5, 6 is recommended.
- In some situations, [Sword of Roland] can also be used.
Sigil Enchants:
The standard 8-8-8-6-8 endgame enchant setup is recommended. You can keep 1 to 2 points in [Waves of Rage].
She does not need [Burning Will] because using Skill 3 will always clear all Rage, so the effect of [Burning Will] cannot be utilized.
Aether Code Recommendations:
- DPS: Use Red 3 Aether Code. The Red line integrates damage and Rage sustain, making it the most suitable Aether Code line for Luwu’s damage output currently.
- Supporting Baize: The Yellow Aether Code line is relatively geared towards a support and block-specialist playstyle, suitable for when Baize is the main DPS and Luwu is the support.
Warp Recommendations:
Support:
Slots 1 & 2: [Power UP: Melee] + [The Executioner] + [The Judge].
Slots 3 & 4: [EM Flux] + [Unfetter].
Slots 5 & 6: [Evolution Particle III] + [Armor Breaker] or one [Kinetic Mod].
DPS:
Slots 1 & 2: [Power UP: Melee] + [The Executioner] + [The Judge].
Slots 3 & 4: [EM Flux] or [Savage] + [Telepathize Forcefield I]
Slots 5 & 6: [Evolution Particle III] The remaining slots depend on your teammates:
If you have Skuld on the team, take [Current Decay].
If you have S-Rank Light-Element Osiris, take [Armor Breaker].
Signature Functor (Otherworlder - Tulou):
After her Synergy update, the signature Functor is slightly stronger, but there is still not a huge gap compared to the 5-star generic Functor.
The benefit from transcending it is slightly lower than before the Synergy update. Basically, a Tier 1 signature Functor is enough. There’s no need to transcend it unless you are doing speedruns.
Playstyle:
General Red line combo:
At the start, use
Normal Attacks until Rage is full
.Then use
Skill 3
(with Synergy and signature Functor, you can use Skill 3 directly). The startup animation of Skill 3 can be interrupted with a dodge. Then, during Spearsky, spam
2 -> Dodge -> 3, 2 -> Dodge -> 3, 2 -> Dodge -> 3
.After all 9 spears are collected, follow up with an enhanced Normal Attack. You can choose to immediately interrupt this with a dodge, as its damage comes out slowly and the multiplier isn’t high. After the attack finishes or is interrupted, continue using Normal Attacks until Rage is full, then repeat the cycle.
Tip: During Spearsky, interrupting Skill 2 with a dodge can increase the Modifying Level twice.
Stat Boost Priority:
- 3 > 1 > 2 > Normal Attack > Ultimate Skill
