Kagutsuchi's youthful, even childlike, appearance has always been a source of problems, explaining the fact many people have had trouble believing throughout the years that Kagutsuchi is the actual captain of the Karasugo Family bodyguard. Kagutsuchi was already an adult mentally and retained a lot of invaluable childishness even in the Sasanami, a place where people live in the constant fear of assassination. Kagutsuchi's youthful appearance certainly comes in handy on certain missions, but he certainly doesn't want to be treated as a kid by anybody outside of these "special" contexts.

When attacked while following up with Madoibi Flicker or Flashfire Execution, the respective Skill Base DMG increases by 10%, 15%, or 20% according to Heartsear's level (up to 120% Skill Base DMG boost can be granted by Heartsear).

When HP is at 1, Fire DMG increases by 0.4% with every 1,000 Max HP (up to 24% Fire DMG boost can be granted by this effect). Effect is removed once HP is over 50%.

Flaring

When HP is at 1, automatically charges Madoibi, restoring 4% charge every 0.1s. The HP recovery effect of Flashfire Execution turns into 80%, 100%, or 120%. When entering the Smelt state, inflicts Flare: Kindle on the Mod and the locked enemy for up to 4s. Only 1 enemy on the field can be inflicted with Flare: Kindle at a time. Deals 5% more DMG to Visbane enemies for every 9% HP the Mod has already lost (up to 55% DMG boost against Visbane enemies). When in Kindle state, the Mod takes 30% less DMG.

When the Mod is in Smelt state, for every 1% HP already lost, deals additional Fire DMG equal to 2.4% of ATK to enemies inflicted with Kindle every 0.2s (up to 240% DMG boost each time). Ryugiri's form after no longer suppressing the Madoibi fire within it. The Crow God developed this weapon to use against its enemies, but it ultimately delivered the cut that beheaded the Crow God. Transformed by the hatred inside of it into a blade of corrupted fire, it's doubtful it will find peace until its enemies and master alike are reduced to ashes.

Equipping by Madoibi Scorched - Kagutsuchi grants the following effects: Charge bar's charge rate increases by 30%. Each time the Smelt state ends, Crit DMG increases by 40% for 4s. When Madoibi Flicker or Flashfire Execution are cast as follow-up attacks within 1s after Heartsear is leveled up, their Non-DoT ATK are increased by 40%. Once Flashfire Execution ends and Heartsear reaches Lv. 3, Flashfire Execution's remaining CD is shortened by 50%. Effect can trigger only once during each cooldown of Flashfire Execution.
