Overview:

Madoibi Kagutsuchi is a Fire-element, Rage-type character, but Rage is completely useless, so don’t be fooled by the system recommendations; you don’t need a Rage set at all! He is a character with high strength but no survivability, and his rotation is relatively simple. However, he is strongly bound to Firebrand Tyr in terms of team composition. Players without Firebrand Tyr can choose not to pull or build him.

Overall, he is a character specialized in long fights and duels. He has self-healing, but his damage relies on HP burning, so his survivability and margin for error are relatively not very high. The Blue line rotation is relatively simple. The Red line requires optimizing the damage window according to the situation, otherwise the damage will definitely not be higher than the Blue line.

Sigil Recommendations:

  • Standard:

    • Slots 1, 3, 5: [Undying Embers]
    • Slots 2, 4, 6: [Sage of Ten Thousand Tomes] (CN) / [Ambush of the Owl] (Global)
    • Omega Sigils: Use
      • Slots 2, 5: Replace with [Primordial Sun]

If you are playing the Red Aether Code line and using [Sage of Ten Thousand Tomes], it is recommended to use dodge more often to get the block effect, otherwise it is better to use [Ambush of the Owl] directly.

Sigil Enchants:

The standard is 8 [Fierce Assault], 8 [Berserk], and 8 Fury [Enraged]. Since the Ultimate Skillchain provides a large amount of skill damage, the return from [Fire Blessing] is relatively better than [Tactics Enhance]. It is recommended to roll for 2 to 3 points of [Loopback]. Note: Do not roll for [Burning Will] or [Waves of Rage]; Rage is completely useless, and rolling for them will only waste enchant slots.

Aether Code Recommendations:

If you like a simple rotation and don’t want to worry about survival, you can choose the Blue Aether Code line. Each time you enter the Smelt state, you get two instances of damage reduction (but note that this damage reduction does not stack and only works on the locked enemy). However, since you need to keep your HP at 1, your survivability is very limited. It has good synergy with Lingguang.

If you want to pursue a higher damage ceiling and short-term burst, you can choose the Red line Aether Code, but your survivability is a bit worrying against enemies with high attack desire. Most importantly, the Smelt state will consume shields first if you have them, so with Lingguang, the healing from the Red line Aether Code is a negative benefit for Madoibi Kagutsuchi to a certain extent.

Warp Recommendations:

  • Standard Build::

    • Slots 1 & 2: [Power UP: Melee] + [Evolution Particle I]

    • Slots 3 & 4: 6x[Savage] + 3x[Unfetter] + 3x[Telepathize Forcefield I].

      • Or 6x[Savage] + 6x[Unfetter]
    • Slots 5 & 6: [Evolution Particle III] + [The Executioner]

Some can be fine-tuned according to your actual situation.

Signature Functor (Shikigami - Kageroushiranui):

The signature Functor is very important for Madoibi Kagutsuchi. It not only enhances his stats but also improves the ‘Heartsear’ recovery, but the return on Functor levels is not high.

DPS Rotation:

  • Start with Skill 2 to enter Smelt state.

  • When you reach Heartsear Lv. 2 or Lv. 3 , use 1-1-1.

  • Continue using Skill 2 to lower your HP to 1 and reach Heartsear Lv. 3, followed by 1-1-1.

  • When the HP is low enough, it is recommended to finish with Skill 3 while at Heartsear Lv. 2.

On the Red line more use of Skill 3 is required to deal damage.

Note: Smelt’s judgment is locked in the moment you press the skill. For example, if you press Skill 3 at Heartsear Lv. 2 but reach Lv. 3 during its animation, it will still count as Lv. 2 and consume only Lv. 2 Heartsear. The same rule applies to Skill 1’s follow-up attacks: if you start at Lv. 3 but only perform three follow-ups, you’ll consume just 2 Heartsear levels instead of all three.

Stat Boost Priority:

It is recommended to prioritize upgrading Skill 1, followed by Skill 3. If you have extra resources, you can choose to upgrade Skill 2 and the Ultimate. Normal Attack is basically useless and not recommended for upgrading.

Team Recommendations:

Strongly bound to Firebrand Tyr. The third member can be a support or a sub-DPS. The first choice for support is Lingguang, followed by Ookuninushi, S-Rank Hera, A-Rank Heimdall, and the old man Marduk. For sub-DPS, you can use any Rage-type character.
