Overview:

Hel is a Shadow element DPS modifier, simple and easy to pick up. The more you spend, the stronger she becomes. She has almost no inherent bonus multipliers, like a blank slate, so she relies heavily on support buffs.

Without a support, her own damage is not outstanding. At low transcend levels and low investment, she is generally not very useful. However, at high transcend levels and high investment with a support, she is currently one of the stronger damage dealers in the game.

Her current drawback is that at low ranks, Hel is too clunky. Her mobility is very poor compared to other main DPS characters, and she can die easily. From SS rank onwards, this weakness is mitigated.

Synergy evaluation:

After the Synergy update, the damage of the Red line playstyle is greatly increased, but it’s not very useful. The Yellow line remains the primary playstyle. The Red line is not very usable at either low or high investment. The damage of Skill 1 seems high, but the focus is still on buffing Skill 3’s damage. The only praiseworthy change is that the Yellow line now has a rapid Divine Grace generation effect when not in turret mode. Basically, after exiting turret mode, one rotation of Skill 1 and Skill 2 can fully charge her Divine Grace. This greatly optimizes the clunky rotation issue for low-investment Hel.

However, Hel still has the same problem: her ceiling is very high, but her floor is also very low. She relies purely on critical hits; if a shot doesn’t crit, the damage is absurdly low.

For Warps, since the Level 3 Synergy turns the exclusive Functor’s bonus into an Independent DMG bonus, it is recommended to use [Evolution Particle III] + [Telekinesis Vector III] for positions 5/6. For specific content, you can consider using one or two other damage-increasing warps.

Sigil Recommendations:

  • Slots 1, 3, 5: [Eljudnir]
  • Slots 2, 4, 6: [Acheron's Obol]
  • Omega Sigils: Choose between
    • Replacing slots 2, 3 with[Mooncrown].
    • Replacing slots 5, 6 with [Ruler of the Heavens].

Aether Code Recommendations:

  • Standard DPS Build: Use Yellow 3 Aether Code (Sanctum of Calamity). Generally recommended to pair her with a Yggdrasill team.

  • Clearing mobs: Use Blue 3 Aether Code (Final Funeral) for their enemy grouping effect.

Signature Functor (Elf - Muriel):

  • Her exclusive Functor greatly increases her damage and reduces the Divine Grace cost of her Skill 3. With the 3rd Yellow Aether Code, 120 Divine Grace can fire 8 shots instead of the original 6. This is a massive damage increase, making Hel one of the characters with a high demand for her exclusive Functor.

Team Recommendations:

  • Basically hard-bound to A-Rank Heimdall, making her team compositions not very flexible in the current meta.
